The repairs hotline if you need a repair, West Devon Homes has a dedicated hotline: 01822 813205. Use this number to call and request a repair. How quickly we carry out works depends on the urgency of the repair, which will be assigned to one of three categories, set by our Regulator, The Tenant Services Agency (TSA), as follows:
Emergency repairs are those which put the health and safety, or security of the tenant or a third party at immediate risk, or that affects the structure of the building adversely. Examples are: total loss of water, flooding, unsafe electrical faults, fire damage, offensive or racist graffiti, blocked main drains or soil pipes.
From 31st October to the 1st of May loss of heating and / or hot water is classed as Emergency.
If you are calling about the loss of heating and / or hot water at any other time of year, it will be treated as an Urgent repair. However, Technical Services staff will ask you some questions to see if you qualify for your request to be treated as an Emergency.
Wherever possible we will try to complete repairs of this nature within 24 hours, but if this is not possible, because, for example, of parts required, we will ensure the situation is made safe within 24 hours.

Urgent repairs are, for example, minor plumbing leaks and defects, minor electrical faults, damage to stair treads or handrails, faulty extractor fans.
Urgent repairs should be completed within 7 Calendar days.
Routine repairs include any defects that will not cause serious discomfort, inconvenience or nuisance to you or others or a deterioration of the property. Examples include dripping taps, kitchen fittings repairs and repairs to external walls, fences and paths.
Routine repairs should be carried out within 28 Calendar days.
