Another way to get involved
Are you already involved?
All West Devon Homes’ tenants are given the opportunity to take part in our satisfaction surveys. You may receive a questionnaire after you have used one of our services (e.g. response repairs) and also when we undertake our wider survey of tenant satisfaction which takes place approximately every two years.
West Devon Homes uses this information to identify where service strengths lie and improvements are needed. We receive a large number of responses to many of our surveys which means we can be confident that these views represent the views of the majority.
What if I want to be more involved?
All tenants are invited to join the Think Bank. Think Bank members all wish to be more involved in helping us to improve the services they are particularly interested in, and in a way that most suits them (e.g. paper survey, telephone survey).
The Importance of Think Bank
Think Bank members play an important role, particularly at times when we are undergoing significant changes to our services. When this occurs, we use our survey results to identify where tenants would most like to see improvements.
Once we have developed a plan for delivering improvements, we then consult with Think Bank members to ensure they are satisfied we have listened to the wider views of service users.
When we will contact you
If we are making significant changes to a service which you have indicated you would like to be consulted about, we will contact you as part of our Think Bank group. Therefore, the more services you indicate you are interested in, the more likely you are to hear from us. To date we have consulted with the Think Bank about changes to our out-of-hours, cyclical, and repairs services.
We will also write to all our Think Bank members once a year giving them the opportunity to change or extend the range of services they would like to be consulted about and also the methods of involvement they would prefer to use.
